My Sincere Apologies...

I am going to send out my sincerest apologies... I personally am going on a temporary blog hiatus until September... I am extremely busy until then with work and the next few weeks are really hectic for me- so I will not have much time, or motivation, to write a daily blog... So, unless my fellow blogger decides to write- we will see you back in September!

Thanks for following everyone, and we really appreciate it! See you SOON!!!

Never Know What to Expect- That Is A Good Thing!

Everyday- I wake up, go to work- sit there, be bored, and because of that- I make all of these great and grand plans of what I want to do each day, each week, each month, and every year. I feel like because of that, I am only setting myself up for disaster- because you can never know what to expect with each and every moment that is to come. I make all of these plans- most of them fall through- but things end up happening organically that end up being equally as good, if not better...

I guess what I am trying to say, is that you should not waste your time trying to try and fix your life into what you want it to be- because as much as you try and try to do so, it will never be EXACTLY what you want it to. I am learning this still, believe me, I am not perfect- I still try to change things all the time and make them into how I want them to be- but it is something I am slowly working on trying to change.

I think life can be more fun (and adventurous) when it happens organically... Wouldn't you agree?

West Side Carnivals... No One Knows What to Expect

So- I have heard from a very reliable source that the west side carnival- Sprit of the Valley Days, or something along those lines- that started last night (much to my dismay) is something to see... Matching men's and women's mullets, cut-off acid jean shorts (for the men, of course), and bad BAD tan lines- in places there should NOT be a tan line, and you should not be subjected to seeing them... Now, I don't know about you, but this doesn't seem like something I can pass up! Am I right?

Moving to the west side has been very difficult for me- it has been like leaving civilization behind- honestly... But I have a feeling that this will give me some hope for my future, and put some faith back in the fair people of the "Bronx"...

I will try my darndest to take a picture of two- without getting into a fight (or maybe that would be fun?)- so my next post can have some actual visuals of what I saw when I was there... Cross our fingers for me!

The Office!

The team over at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company have continuously been able to keep me entertained and make me laugh for 6 seasons... I just found out that the rumors are true- that my dear and true friend, Michael Scott, is leaving after this next season...

I am not sure how I feel about this change in my near future... Seriously- between "Lost" ending, me not having real cable to watch the shows I used to watch, "Glee" and "The Office" are about the only shows that I watch... Without my programs (yes- I said programs- I am starting to sound like my Grandmother), I might DIE!

Oh, please Steve Carell, DON'T leave me!!!

Camera Funk..

I have been really attracted to images that have a bit of a flare to them lately... Not just a funk to them (although that is a necessity too), but a camera flare, from the lighting... Soooo- here are a few of the ones that I have been finding- as a sample to you kids out there following this blog...

An Apologetic Return

First of all, I have to say sorry to all of you (especially Sina) for basically disappearing for the last few months. This summer has been nothing but stressful to little ol' me. Between beverage carting (in which I feel I could write a novel on my experiences), family, friends, and ultimately life, I have had not one ounce of free time to really enjoy summer. Pathetic I know.

My life as a bev cart girl has led to proposals, dates, friends, a golf game, and ultimately being able to mix a mean drink. The stories I come home with at night are ones that I can laugh to with my friends until I cry or need one of my own strong drinks to help forget that those weirdos actually do roam this earth.

Between planning for next year (last year of school!) and the summer after I am so excited to say that I am planning a trip to Italy! I will be spending 2-3 months in the magical land of art, food and wine on a self discovery of Kenzie trip. (Thank you Eat, Pray, Love.) I have begun looking at apartments to rent in the heart of the city and am planning my trips to see some of the greatest works of art. This trip is once in a lifetime and I can't think of a better way to discover my true self than forcing myself into a city I don't speak the language, have never been, and know nothing of (well, besides art).
So, that's what I've been up to and my summer so far. With one month to go until the return of school I will be up to my old tricks at the golf course and spending as much free time on my boat as possible drinking in every ounce of summer sun that I can.
